Today class was cancelled due to dangerous icy conditions. This morning a freezing rain advisory was issued for Eau Claire. This bizarre weather is due to the warmer temperatures we have been having, which caused it to rain rather than snow last night. This rain froze on the ground because the temperature has been hovering right around 32°F.
