Plenty of people had a lot to say about the weather when they woke up this morning - myself included. I couldn't help but send a disgruntled tweet of my own. There was a few inches of snow on the ground. The rain from yesterday turned into snow overnight as the temperature fell.

Current conditions

Temperature: 38°F
Wind: 8 mph from the ENE
Pressure: 29.94 in
Humidity: 64%
Dew Point: 27°F

The surface map doesn't show precipitation near us even though we are technically in a winter storm warning until tomorrow at 7 p.m. The more interesting action looks to be in the East, where the dip in the jet is moving.

The jet stream is crazy looking - you can see the strong dip in the middle of the United States which will continue to move to the East. Weather.com reporters are predicting possible tornadoes and thunderstorms, but most importantly are the damaging winds.
