Today was gorgeous. There was a lot of sun and the temperature was warm enough for the snow and ice to melt a lot. I was even able to go for a run outside for the first time in a long time..there was just a lot of puddles. I saw what I thought were cirrus clouds.

Current conditions

Temperature: 12°F
Wind: 5 mph from the Southwest
Pressure: 30.32 in
Humidity: 77%
Dew Point: 8°F

The updates have shown me that the storm will continue in the Northeast until Friday. However it looks like the actual snowfall will not be as much as the past storms. They are going to be getting some very high winds. This can be seen on the surface map with the low pressure system and the pressure gradient. Directly over those Northeast cities the isobars are very close together.

Back to Eau Claire - tomorrow the sun should come out to play again and the temp should be in the mid 30s. The wind will shift to come more from the East. It should be another nice day.
