Today we were hoping for a snow day or a delay but it wasn't in the stars. The storm started to lose steam when the swirling motion in the winds died down. The course of the low didn't run into the sub tropical jet and therefore there was not enough moisture in the air to work with to give us the amount of precipitation that was predicted. However this storm will shift into a strong low into the East. They just can't seem to catch a break. This is expected to hit them on Wednesday.

Today there were stratus clouds when there was a break in precipitation and nimbostratus clouds during the precipitation.

I didn't have a chance to snipe a pic so here is basically what the sky looked like.

Current conditions

Temperature: 26°F
Wind: 5 mph from the North
Pressure: 30.11 in
Humidity: 77%
Dew Point: 21°F

Current surface map of the country: you can see the storm (saturn....) has moved on from our neck of the woods.
