Today was pretty chilly. The more interesting thing is the storm that continues to move east across the United States.

Current conditions

Temperature: 13°F
Wind: 6 mph from the NE
Pressure: 30.36 in
Humidity: 60%
Dew Point: 4°F

It sounds like Kansas is going to get snow in the morning on Thursday and then later on the storm will hit Missouri (Kansas City is a big topic of discussion among weather reporters) as it increases in intensity. The snowfall totals vary depending on the models. Another area of concern is ice accumulation in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas.

The current surface map shows the major low that is spurring this storm on. You can see the snow over Kansas already as mentioned.

Another map in which you can see the snow as well as rain - the south may get thunderstorms from this system.
